ECHS Palampur Recruitment 2026: Multiple Vacancies for Pharmacists in Himachal Pradesh

The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), functioning under the Ministry of Defence, has announced recruitment for Pharmacists on a contractual basis. These positions are distributed across several polyclinics under the jurisdiction of Station Headquarters Palampur for the upcoming service year.

The ECHS provides comprehensive medical care to Ex-Servicemen and their dependents, operating through a structured network of Regional Centres and Polyclinics across India.

Vacancy Distribution & Salary

The recruitment aims to fill 05 vacancies across the following locations in Himachal Pradesh:

Polyclinics: Palampur (01), Joginder Nagar (01), Barsar (01), Bhoranj (01), and Sarkaghat (01).
Monthly Remuneration: ₹36,500/- (Fixed).
Tenure: Initially for one year, renewable for an additional year based on performance and age criteria.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following Qualitative Requirements (QRs):

Requirement	Details
Education	(i) B.Pharmacy from a recognized institute OR (ii) 10+2 with Science (PCB) and an approved Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm).
Registration	Must be registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948.
Experience	Minimum 03 years of work experience in the pharmacy field.

Interview Schedule

Shortlisted candidates meeting the eligibility criteria must appear for a walk-in interview.

Interview Dates: February 13 & 14, 2026.
Reporting Time: 10:00 AM (Interview window: 10:00 AM to 02:00 PM).
Venue: Station HQ, Palampur.
Documents Required: Bring all original certificates, mark sheets, work experience proof, and for Ex-Servicemen, the Discharge Book, PPO, and Service Records.
Note: No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
