The Tata Translational Cancer Research Centre (TTCRC), the research arm of Tata Medical Center, has announced openings for multiple research positions within its SOLi3D group (Solid tumour Organoid Laboratory for investigating Disease biology, Drug response testing, and Drug discovery).
TTCRC is a premier multidisciplinary institution focused on developing innovative and cost-effective strategies for cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Vacancies at a Glance
The institute is looking for candidates at three distinct experience levels. Note: PhD candidates will not be considered for the Level IV/V and Senior Research Assistant roles.

Primary Responsibilities
Selected candidates will work on established and emerging tumor organoid cultures. Key tasks include:
- Lab Work: Clinical sample processing, organoid culture, and molecular extractions (DNA/RNA/Protein).
- Advanced Imaging: High-throughput confocal microscopic imaging and histological analysis.
- Testing: Drug response testing, NGS sample preparation, and protein mass spectrometry.
- Reporting: Planning experiments, analyzing data, and preparing scientific manuscripts/reports.
Experience Requirements
Essential Skills:
- Extensive mammalian cell culture techniques.
- Proficiency in qRT-PCR, Western Blot, and molecular extraction.
- Understanding of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
Preferred Skills:
- Handling patient samples and 3D culture models (Spheroids/Organoids/Organ-on-chip).
- Experience with automated liquid handlers, digital dispensers, or hydrogel bioprinting.
- Proficiency in R programming, image analysis software, or LIMS (LabVantage).
