
The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), under the Ministry of Defence, has released a notification for the recruitment of a Pharmacist at the Kota Polyclinic. This role is a contractual engagement specifically designed to provide healthcare services to veterans and their dependents.
Role Overview
The position is initially for a period of 11 to 12 months, renewable based on performance and age criteria. As an organization managed by the Army Headquarters, ECHS maintains high standards of discipline and medical ethics.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following statutory and professional requirements:
- Educational Qualification: * B.Pharmacy from a recognized institute OR
- Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) registered under the Pharmacy Act 1948.
- Registration: Must hold valid registration with the National or State Pharmacy Council.
- Experience: A minimum of 03 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical field.
- Desirable: Specialized diplomas or courses in specific pharmacy domains.
Application Process
Applications must be submitted in the prescribed format (available on the ECHS website) along with self-attested photocopies of all supporting documents.

- Submission Format: Applications must be submitted in duplicate (two copies).
- Deadline: 05 February 2026 by 14:00 hrs. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Interview & Selection
- Notification: Eligible candidates will be informed of the interview date and time via SMS/Email/Mobile.
- Venue: Station Headquarters, Kota.
- Mandatory Documents (Originals required at interview):
- 10th, 12th, and Graduation/Diploma Marksheets & Degrees.
- Work Experience Certificates.
- Registration with Pharmacy Council.
- For ESM: Discharge Book, PPO, and Service Records.
- 2 x Passport size color photographs.
- On-Job Training (OJT): Selected candidates must complete 10 days of unpaid training at the Polyclinic before signing the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA).
