Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Master of Science (M.Sc) in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related Life Sciences.
- Technical Interest: A strong desire to learn and operate high-end platforms like LC-MS (Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry) and GC-MS (Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry).
Key Roles & Responsibilities
The selected candidate will undergo training and handle the following:
- Instrument Operation: Operating and monitoring mass spectrometry platforms under established protocols.
- Sample Preparation: Handling extraction, dilution, derivatization, and cleanup techniques.
- Maintenance: Routine calibration, tuning, and basic performance checks of analytical instruments.
- Inventory Management: Tracking laboratory consumables, reagents, and chemicals.
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate electronic and paper-based logs for instrument usage and experimental data according to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
