NIPER-SAS Nagar Recruitment 2026: Research Associate-I Opportunity

The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER), SAS Nagar (Mohali), is inviting applications for the post of Research Associate-I. This project, sponsored by DBT-BIRAC, explores innovative “Aptamer-aided anti-inflammatory programming” to treat chronic inflammation in atherosclerosis and pancreatitis.

This position offers a unique opportunity to work under the supervision of Dr. Ujwal Mukund Mahajan in the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology.

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualification: * Ph.D./MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree.
- OR 3 years of research/teaching/design experience after M.VSc. / M.Pharm / M.Tech / ME with at least one research paper in an SCI journal.
Desirable Expertise:
- Experience in Aptamer synthesis.
- Proficiency in conducting both in-vitro (cell culture) and in-vivo (animal model) experiments.
