Educational Qualifications
Candidates must possess one of the following from a recognized University/Institute:
- Pharma & Biotech (Schedule II): Master’s Degree in Pharmacology, Pharmacy, Medicinal/Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, or Food Technology.
- Chemical & Biological Sciences (Schedule I): Doctorate Degree in Chemistry (Organic/Inorganic/Analytical/Applied), Biology, Life Sciences, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or Forensic Science.
Experience Requirements
This is a senior leadership role requiring extensive expertise:
- Total Experience: 21 years in R&D (Industry, Academic, or Govt. organizations).
- Leadership Role: At least 10 years must be in planning, administration, and coordination of S&T programs at a senior level (Level 13 and above).
- Research Output: Must have published research work of a high standard and experience in managing large-scale science programs.
