Project Overview: BIRAC TB Cachexia

The study is a three-arm randomized controlled trial (RCT) designed to combat cachexia (severe muscle wasting) in patients with pulmonary TB. It evaluates the effectiveness of Omega-3 supplements and Ibuprofen in improving muscle protein synthesis rates compared to the standard of care.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

General Assistance: Supporting the Principal Investigator with administrative or clinical tasks.
