IIT Hyderabad Recruitment 2026: Project Manager Vacancy for Pharmacy & Life Sciences Graduates

IIT Hyderabad is inviting applications from motivated Indian nationals for the position of Project Manager (Project Associate I) to work on a high-impact Wellcome Trust funded research project. The project focuses on “Validation of a Translatable Chronobiological Signature of Early Relapse in Bipolar Disorder,” bridging the gap between clinical research and molecular biology.

Post Name: Project Manager (Equivalent to Project Associate I)
Project Focus: Bipolar Disorder, Circadian Biology, and Sleep Research.
Duration: 11 months (Extendable up to 2 years based on performance).
Remuneration: * ₹37,000 + 27% HRA (For NET/GATE qualified candidates)
- ₹30,000 + 27% HRA (For others)

Eligibility Criteria

Education: M.Pharm, M.Tech, M.Sc, or B.Tech in Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or related disciplines.
Academic Record: Minimum 70% or 7.0 CGPA from a recognized university.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years (Relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC).
Experience (Preferred): Candidates with 1+ year of experience in RT-PCR, Western Blotting, Mass Spectrometry, or clinical human subject research will be prioritized.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will handle Actigraphy measurements, transcript and metabolite studies, and maintain communication with clinical collaborators. Additionally, the role involves data analysis, manuscript writing, and project documentation under the guidance of Dr. Sandipan Ray.
