West Bengal Health Recruitment Board to Hire 350 Pharmacists (Grade-III)

The West Bengal Health Recruitment Board (WBHRB) has announced a major recruitment drive for 350 posts of Pharmacist Grade-III under the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal. This initiative aims to strengthen the state’s healthcare delivery system and ensure proper services are available 24/7 to all citizens.


Position Details and Eligibility

  • Post: Pharmacist Grade-III
  • Number of Posts: 350
  • Category-wise Breakup:
    • Unreserved (UR): 146
    • SC: 73
    • ST: 21
    • OBC Category A: 35
    • OBC Category B: 20
    • UR (PWD): 11
    • SC (PWD): 4
    • EWS: 35
  • Essential Qualifications:
    • Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, and either Mathematics or Biology from the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Examination or its equivalent.
    • Applicants must hold a two-year Diploma in Pharmacy or a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy recognized by the Government of West Bengal.
    • Registration as an “A” category Pharmacist under the West Bengal Pharmacy Council is mandatory.
