Walk-in Interview for Pharmacist in Assam under World Bank-Funded Project

The Office of the Joint Director of Health Services, Sonitpur, is inviting offline applications for a Walk-in-Interview to fill a Pharmacist position on a purely contractual basis. This recruitment is part of the World Bank-funded “11 ASSIST” Project under the Medical Education & Research Department, Govt. of Assam.

The position offers an opportunity to work for a period of six months with a possibility of re-engagement based on performance. Interested and eligible Indian citizens are encouraged to attend the interview.

Position Details:

  • Post: Pharmacist
  • Number of Vacancies: 1
  • Remuneration: Rs. 18,000 per month
  • Location: Sonitpur, Tezpur

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized University/Institution.
  • Registration: Must be a registered Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act of 1948.
  • Age Limit: Between 18 and 48 years as on 01/01/2025. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC candidates as per government rules.

Interview and Application Process:

  • Date & Time: 19th August 2025 at 11:00 AM
  • Venue: Office of the Joint Director of Health Services, Sonitpur, Tezpur
  • What to Bring: Candidates must bring a duly filled Standard Form of Application (Assam Gazette Part-IX), two self-attested passport-size photographs, and original self-attested copies of all relevant educational and personal documents (Admit Cards, Mark Sheets, Caste Certificate, Aadhaar Card, etc.).

Note: The position is strictly contractual, and candidates will not be able to claim regularization, extension, or salary increment. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
