
NIAB, an autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, is seeking applications for a Project Associate-I position.
This role is part of a project titled “Surveillance of avian viruses in poultry farm environment in the neighborhood of BRIC-NIAB of Telangana State,” funded by NCBS-TIFR and guided by Dr. Madhuri Subbiah.
Key Details:
- Post: Project Associate-I
- Essential Qualification: Four years Bachelor’s degree in Natural or Agricultural sciences, Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences, BVSc, B.Pharma, or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology or Medicine from a recognized university.
- Desired Experience: Candidates should have experience in techniques such as RNA/DNA isolations, PCR, QPCR, cloning, and handling cell cultures.
- Salary: The salary is based on qualifications:
- ₹37,000 + HRA for candidates who have qualified for NET or any other national-level exams.
- ₹30,000 + HRA for those who have not qualified for such exams.
- Age Limit: The upper age limit is 35 years.
- Duration: The project duration is 1 year, with the possibility of extension based on satisfactory performance.
