AIIMS Jodhpur Walk-in Interview for Research Positions in Viral Research and Diagnostics

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jodhpur, is holding a walk-in interview for two temporary positions under an extramural research project titled “Regional Level Viral Research and Diagnostic Laboratory.” The project is under the direction of Dr. Ravisekhar Gadepalli, with the goal of strengthening the country’s healthcare infrastructure and research capabilities.

Available Positions

Research Scientist-II (Non-Medical):
- Number of Posts: 1
- Qualifications: An M.Sc. and Ph.D. in a relevant subject are essential, along with a minimum of four years of R&D or teaching experience.
- Desirable Skills: Candidates with experience in Microbiology or Virological techniques, post-doctoral training, and knowledge of computer applications, bioinformatics, and handling large datasets are highly preferred.
- Salary: Rs. 67,000 per month plus House Rent Allowance (HRA).
- Tenure: The position is temporary for six months, with a possibility of extension.
- Age Limit: Up to 40 years.
Research Assistant:
- Number of Posts: 1
- Qualifications: A Science graduate with three years of work experience from a recognized institution. Alternatively, a postgraduate degree in Medical Microbiology, Microbiology, Virology, Biotechnology, or Life Science with relevant experience in clinical virology or microbiology will be considered.
- Salary: Rs. 35,000 per month (consolidated).
- Tenure: The position is temporary for three months, with a possibility of extension.
- Age Limit: Up to 30 years.

Application and Interview Process

Candidates must attend a walk-in interview on October 1, 2025. They should report at the designated venue between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM. No candidates will be entertained after the closing time.
Applicants are required to bring a duly filled application form, bio-data, and all relevant original documents, along with one set of self-attested photocopies of certificates for age, qualifications, and experience. No TA/DA will be provided for the interview.

Interview Venue: 1st Floor, Department of Microbiology, Administration Building, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Jodhpur.

The positions are purely on a temporary basis and are co-terminus with the project. Candidates should not expect permanent employment with AIIMS, Jodhpur.
