Research Associate Opportunity: AYUSH-Funded Project at PGIMER Invites M.Pharm, M.Tech & PhD Candidates

PGIMER, Chandigarh, a leading medical institution in India, is offering a valuable career opportunity for highly qualified professionals. The Department of Pharmacology, under the supervision of Professor Bikash Medhi, is seeking a dedicated individual for the contractual post of Research Associate in a project funded by the Ministry of AYUSH.

This temporary, project-based role is ideal for those with a strong background in research and a desire to contribute to scientific advancements in the field of health and wellness.

  • Position: Research Associate (01 Post)
  • Salary: The selected candidate will receive a competitive salary of Rs. 58,000/- per month, in addition to 18% HRA.
  • Project Title: An AYUSH-funded research project.
  • Principal Investigator: Professor Bikash Medhi, Department of Pharmacology.

Who is Eligible to Apply?

The position has specific and diverse qualification requirements. Candidates must hold one of the following degrees:

  • Ph.D. in a relevant subject.
  • Post-Graduation in a wide range of fields, including Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, Homoeopathy, Yoga, Yoga and Naturopathy, Sanskrit, Arabic, Persian, or Philosophy.
  • A degree qualification in a respective AYUSH System or Allopathy.
  • An M.Pharm, M.E., M.Tech, or M.V.Sc. degree with a minimum of 3 years of research experience. The experience must be from a project funded by a recognized government body such as the Ministry of AYUSH, ICMR, CSIR, or DST.
