Junior Research Assistant (JRA) Opening at NIPER-Raebareli for UPCST Sponsored Project

The National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER-Raebareli), an autonomous body under the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, is inviting applications for the position of Junior Research Assistant (JRA). This position is purely temporary and is sponsored by the Council of Science and Technology (CST), U.P., Lucknow.

Project and Remuneration Details

Post: Junior Research Assistant (JRA) (One position)
Project Title: “Flavanoid-loaded mannosylated nano lipidic vesicles for therapeutic intervention of Wilson disease”
Sponsoring Agency: Council of Science and Technology (CST), U.P. Lucknow
Principal Investigator (PI): Dr. Rahul Shukla
Tenure: 3 years. Performance will be reviewed after the first year for an extension.
Stipend:
- INR 25,000/- per month for the first two years.
- INR 28,000/- per month for the third year.
- Note: This is a consolidated stipend and does not include benefits like HRA, CCA, PF, LTC, or medical claim.

Eligibility and Essential Requirements

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must have high academic achievement with a First Class in both graduate and post-graduate examinations and possess one of the following degrees:

M.S (Pharm.) or M.Pharm. in Pharmaceutics / Biotechnology or Pharmacology & Toxicology.
M.Sc. (Life sciences) / Biotechnology.
PG degree in other relevant branches of life sciences.

Other Essential Requirements

Residence: Candidate must be a resident of Uttar Pradesh.
Age Limit: Maximum 28 years as of April 1, 2025 (age relaxation for SC/ST/PH is as per Government of India rules).

Desirable Skills

Preference will be given to candidates with experimental exposure in:

Cell Culture
Histology
Molecular Biology
Animal Handling
Other relevant experimental skills.
