Project Technical Support (CRO/Data Analyst) at BITS Pilani, Goa Campus (ICMR Project)

The BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus, is inviting applications for one position of Project Technical Support – I (CRO / Data Analyst) for an ICMR-sponsored research project. The project is titled “Pathophysiological investigations of sickle cell disease and interventions to improve associated hemorheological abnormalities” and focuses on evaluating the clinical efficacy of an indigenous anti-sickling formulation (HbS-Sailin).
The selected candidate will be officially hired by BITS Pilani, Goa Campus, but will be stationed at SCB Medical College, Cuttack, Odisha, to conduct the clinical trials.

Note: The salary has a 5% increment in the second year. Additional salary can be negotiated based on qualifications and experience, and commensurate additional compensation may be provided through industry/institute sources.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
The position is open to candidates from Pharmacy and Life Sciences backgrounds with relevant experience in clinical research and data analysis.
| Qualification Level | Requirement |
| Master’s Degree | M.Sc./M.S./M.Pharm or equivalent in Life Sciences or a related discipline with clinical research experience and knowledge of biostatistics. |
| Bachelor’s Degree | B.Sc./B.S./B.Pharm or equivalent in Life Sciences or a related discipline with several years of experience in clinical research will be considered. |
| Ph.D. Candidates | Those who have submitted their thesis or are in the final year of Ph.D. in Life Sciences or allied subjects with relevant experience are also eligible. |
| Skills Required | Proficiency in MS Office and communication skills. Willingness to learn regulatory compliance is a must. |
| Weightage | Candidates with proven experience in clinical trial management, data analysis, data management, and clinical statistical analyses will have additional weightage. |
Job Profile (CRO / Data Analyst)
The role encompasses Clinical Research Officer/Associate responsibilities and Data Analyst functions:
- CRO Services: Project management, clinical monitoring, data management, and regulatory affairs.
- Data Analyst: Ensuring data integrity, conducting statistical analyses, and producing high-quality reports.
