The Territory Manager will be responsible for executing the product management team’s sales and marketing strategies, achieving business goals in their designated region, and providing crucial customer feedback for product development. A key part of the role is establishing and nurturing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
Key Roles & Responsibilities
The position involves a comprehensive set of sales, strategy, and relationship management duties:
1. Product Promotion and Strategy Execution:
- Promoting new products and executing the Product Management Team’s marketing strategy.
- Analyzing market trends, consulting with doctors on new product potential, and relaying feedback.
- Identifying KOLs, monitoring product availability, and implementing brand strategies for successful product launches.
2. Sales Monitoring and Target Achievement:
- Monitoring primary and secondary sales through regular visits to stockists and pharmacies.
- Ensuring the accomplishment of doctor-specific and product-specific sales objectives.
- Active participation in monthly review meetings to assess area coverage, SOP adherence, and expense management to meet overall sales targets.
3. Customer Relationship Management (CRM):
- Establishing strong customer connections and promptly addressing queries using the company platform, Infoginip.
- Classifying customers based on potential, determining meeting frequency, and tracking Return on Investment (ROI) per customer to build a loyal customer base.
4. Medical Education and Influence:
- Meeting frequently with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and Key Business Leaders (KELs).
- Persuading KOLs and KELs to conduct Continuing Medical Education (CME) events with the company.
- Collecting interest areas from key customers and hospitals to organize relevant CMEs.
5. Data Management and Decision Making:
- Preparing a product matrix based on doctor’s potential and preference to decide which product best fits their needs.
- Updating data on chemists, doctors, and Retail Chemist Prescription Audit (RCPA) through the palm top to the Unnati portal to ensure timely information access for all stakeholders.
