📝 Key Job Description and Responsibilities
The roles in Formulation Development involve end-to-end activities related to bringing new pharmaceuticals to the clinical stage, including:
I. Research and Initial Planning
- Conducting comprehensive Literature Search and Patent Search.
- Procurement and evaluation of Reference/Comparator Products.
- Preparation and submission of Test License Applications.
- Preparation of the detailed Costing Formula.
- Managing Raw Materials and Packing Materials procurement for projects.
II. Development and Execution
- Executing Bio batches (Trial/Pilot batches).
- Conducting essential Pre-formulation studies.
- Drafting and reviewing Master Formula Records (MFR) and product specifications.
- Hands-on execution of Formulation Development and Scale-up activities.
- Managing and monitoring Stability Studies.
III. Documentation and Compliance
- Compiling and analyzing Analytical Data and Stability Data.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed Lab Notebooks and Project files.
- Performing Balance Calibration and maintaining precise calibration records.
