
The Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), a leading tertiary care, super-specialty hospital established by the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, is seeking highly qualified candidates for the post of Clinical Research Coordinator. This is a significant opportunity to contribute to a crucial international Phase III clinical trial, focusing on liver disease.
Project and Position Details
This position is a contract appointment for one candidate, involving a long-term, high-impact research project:
- Post Title: Clinical Research Coordinator (01 post)
- Project Title: “A Phase III double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trial to evaluate liver-related clinical outcomes and safety of once weekly injected Survodutide in participants with compensated non-alcoholic steatohepatitis /metabolic dysfunction associated steatohepatitis (NASH/MASH) cirrhosis.”
- Protocol Number: 1404-0064
- Funding Agency: The trial is sponsored by the multinational pharmaceutical company, Boehringer Ingelheim.
- Project Duration: The appointment is for a substantial duration of 4.5 Years.
- Remuneration: The selected candidate will receive a consolidated salary of Rs 45,000 per month. The contract includes an initial probation period of 1 year.
Essential Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the educational requirements as of October 31, 2025, and adhere to the maximum age limit:
Academic Qualification (Essential):
Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications:
- First-class Master’s degree in Clinical Research/Clinical Trials (this includes integrated master’s degrees). OR
- Second-class Master’s degree in Clinical Research/Clinical Trials (including integrated master’s degree) along with a PhD in Clinical Research/Clinical Trials/Epidemiology.
Experience (Desirable):
- Candidates with 1-2 years of post-qualification experience specifically in clinical trials are preferred.
Age Limit:
- The upper age limit is 35 years as on October 31, 2025.
