Tata Memorial Centre (ACTREC) Announces Junior Research Fellow Recruitment

The Tata Memorial Centre (TMC) – Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC) has announced a walk-in interview for the position of Junior Research Fellow (Non-medical). As an autonomous body under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, TMC continues to lead in oncology research and professional development.

This role is specifically designed for graduates in Pharmacy and Life Sciences who are looking to build a career in clinical trial monitoring and research administration within a premier cancer research institute.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

TMC-ACTREC is seeking candidates with a strong academic background and specific technical training in clinical research.

Essential Qualification: Graduation in Science (B.Pharm, Life Sciences, Biotech, Zoology, or Botany) supplemented by a Post Graduate (PG) Diploma in Clinical Research.
Mandatory Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in monitoring interventional clinical trials (RCTs) or handling allopathic clinical trials.
Preferred Background: Experience specifically in Oncology clinical trials and experience coordinating institutional committees.
Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English are required.

Job Responsibilities

The selected candidate will play a crucial role within the Research Review Committee (RRC) of the Institutional Research Board. Key duties include:

Assisting with site monitoring visits for ongoing clinical research studies.
Supporting the administrative and regulatory functions of the RRC.
Ensuring compliance with interventional trial protocols.

Compensation and Tenure

Salary: A consolidated monthly pay ranging from Rs. 25,510 to Rs. 54,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
Age Limit: Up to 35 years (relaxation may be granted based on exceptional experience).
Duration: The initial appointment is for 6 months, with the possibility of extension based on project requirements and performance.
