Applications are invited for the Group ‘B’ positions of Junior Scientific Assistant and Assistant Sample Warden.
These roles are vital for the national drug authority in fulfilling its mandate under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, ensuring the safety and efficacy of pharmaceuticals across the country.
Vacancy Overview & Pay Scale
The recruitment is being conducted on a Promotion/Transfer on Deputation basis (including short-term contracts).
- Positions: Junior Scientific Assistant / Assistant Sample Warden
- Classification: Group ‘B’, Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial
- Pay Scale: Level-6 (₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400) as per the 7th CPC Pay Matrix.
- Location: CDTL, Mumbai.
Eligibility Criteria
The organization is looking for officers currently serving under Central/State Governments, Research Institutions, PSUs, or Statutory Organizations who meet the following requirements:
Professional Status
- Holding an analogous post in the parent department.
- OR Having 3 years of regular service in Level-4 (₹25,500 – ₹81,100).
Educational Qualifications (Essential)
Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in any of the following disciplines from a recognized university:
- Pharmacy / Pharma Chemistry
- Pharmacology / Biochemistry / Microbiology
- Chemistry / Botany / Physiology
- Veterinary Science
Age Limit
The maximum age for appointment by deputation must not exceed 56 years as of the closing date of the application.
