
The Tata Medical Center (TMC), a premier tertiary cancer care institution, is inviting applications for the position of Clinical Research Assistant. The role is part of a Phase IV Clinical Trial (interventional study) involving Hamsyl®/Hamsyl® Jr. for newly diagnosed Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) patients.
The study, sponsored by Gennova Biopharmaceuticals Ltd, focuses on safety assessment and asparaginase activity during the induction phase of chemotherapy.
Project & Position Details
- Position: Clinical Research Assistant
- Project Title: Phase-IV study to assess the safety of Hamsyl®/Hamsyl® Jr. in newly diagnosed ALL patients.
- Sponsor: Gennova Biopharmaceuticals Ltd.
- Tenure: 01 Year (Extendable based on the trial’s duration).
- Location: New Town, Kolkata.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Minimum Qualifications
- M.Sc in Biological Sciences (Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, or Health Science).
- Sound knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and regulatory requirements.
2. Desirable Experience
- 1–2 years of experience in handling clinical samples and plasma processing.
- Expertise in Protein Biology: Plasma extraction and bio-separation techniques (Gel Electrophoresis, Chromatography).
- Experience in a hospital setting and coordinating between patients and clinicians.
- Proficiency in data management and computer applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Sample & Data Management: Processing study samples and maintaining accurate data trackers.
- Compliance: Ensuring adherence to study protocols, SOPs, and GCP guidelines.
- Safety Monitoring: Assisting the Principal Investigator (PI) in reporting Adverse Events (AEs) and protocol deviations.
- Coordination: Managing study supplies with the CRO and coordinating with the Institutional Review Board (IRB).
