Pharm'Up 
AIIMS Guwahati, an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, is inviting applications from Indian nationals for a Pharmacist position on a contractual basis. This role is associated with the BHISHM Cube initiative, aimed at enhancing emergency medical response.
Position Overview
- Post Name: Pharmacist
- Number of Posts: 01
- Consolidated Remuneration: ₹40,000 per month
- Age Limit: Maximum 35 years (as on the date of interview).
- Tenure: Initially up to 31st March 2026, with the possibility of extension based on performance and Ministry approval.
Eligibility Criteria
Essential Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
- B. Pharmacy from a recognized university and Registered with the Pharmacy Council.
- B.Sc Nursing from a recognized university and Registered with the Indian Nursing Council.
- Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or GNM Nursing from a recognized institute and Registered with the respective Council.
Experience
- 02 years of post-qualification experience in the concerned field from a recognized institute or board.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will support the BHISHM Cube operations, with duties including:
- Dispensing medications and maintaining updated drug inventories.
- Managing procurement and replenishment of essential medical supplies.
- Assisting in laboratory tests, sample collection, and diagnostic procedures.
- Ensuring proper storage and disposal of medical reagents and supplies.
- Supporting the deployment and demobilization of BHISHM Cubes.
Selection Procedure
- Application Scrutiny: Initial screening of applications and document verification.
- Screening Test: If a large number of applications are received, a screening test may be conducted on the day of the interview.
- Walk-in Interview: Eligible candidates will be called for an interview. Selection is based on merit and a minimum suitability standard set by the committee.

- Attend Interview: Bring the original certificates and the filled application form to the Boardroom of the MS Office, AIIMS Guwahati at 10:00 AM on the scheduled date (to be announced on the website).
