AIIMS Bhubaneswar Recruitment 2026: Walk-In Interviews Announced for ICMR-Funded Research Positions

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar has officially announced a recruitment notification inviting applications for temporary contractual positions under an ICMR-funded research project. The project, titled “Efficacy in Scrub typhus of Combination therapy in Children versus Azithromycin or Doxycycline monotherapy: a double-blind Randomized control trial (ESCHAR Trial)”, is headed by Dr. Rashmi Ranjan Das, Professor in the Department of Pediatrics.
Available Posts, Qualifications, and Emoluments
The recruitment drive features specific technical and scientific roles intended for qualified professionals:
- Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) — 01 Post
- Essential Qualifications: Graduate Degree in Life Sciences / Pharmacology / Public Health / Nursing, including integrated PG degrees.
- Desirable Qualifications: 1 year of experience in clinical research and patient handling.
- Emoluments: Rs. 56,000/- + HRA as admissible.
- Tenure & Age Limit: 11 months tenure with a maximum age limit of 35 years.
- Project Technical Support-III — 01 Post
- Essential Qualifications: Three-year Graduate degree in Life Sciences + Three years of post-qualification experience OR Postgraduate degree in Life Sciences / Public Health.
- Desirable Qualifications: Working experience in child health research.
- Emoluments: Rs. 28,000/- + HRA as admissible.
- Tenure & Age Limit: 11 months tenure with a maximum age limit of 35 years.
(Note: The recruitment notice also includes 3 positions designated for Project Nurse-III.)

Candidates meeting the criteria can appear for the walk-in selection process directly:

- Reporting Time: Between 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM
- Venue: Ground floor VC room of the academic building, AIIMS Bhubaneswar
