This permanent government career opportunity aims to bolster enforcement efforts against the manufacture and sale of adulterated food articles, spurious items, and sub-standard or fake medicines across the state.

Pay Scale and Age Criteria
- Pay Scale: Level-8 (Rs.Ā 47,600ā151,100)
- Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21 and 40 years of age as of July 1, 2025. Standard age relaxations apply for reserved categories and domicile holders as per state guidelines.
Academic Qualifications
Eligible applicants must possess a Bachelorās degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a Bachelorās degree in Medicine with a specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a recognized university. A working knowledge of Hindi is also mandatory.
Selection Procedure
The recruitment methodology comprises a rigorous screening and evaluation process:
- Screening Examination: An objective-type test featuring multiple-choice questions.
- Negative Marking: Incorrect answers or multiple selections will attract a penalty deduction of one-third (0.33) of the marks assigned to that question.
- Qualifying Standards: Minimum efficiency standards are set at 35% for SC/ST candidates and 40% for all other categories.
- Final Merit: The final selection list will be curated based on a combined weightage of 75% marks from the screening test and 25% marks from the personal interview.
