
Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University (DPSRU), the first pharmacy university in India, has invited applications for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position. This is a temporary, contractual role for a time-bound research project.
About the Project
The selected candidate will work on a project titled “Supramolecular phospholipid complexed antifungal Nanoparticles for localized and Effective treatment of vulvovaginal Candidiasis.” The research is housed in the Department of Pharmaceutics at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The initial appointment is for one year, with the possibility of an extension up to 36 months based on the JRF’s performance.
Role and Responsibilities
The JRF will be responsible for performing all experimental work related to the project, including day-to-day operations and troubleshooting. The position is full-time, requiring mandatory biometric attendance. The JRF is also responsible for all project documentation, including submitting progress reports to the funding agency, CSIR, and adhering to the policies of both the funding agency and DPSRU.
Eligibility and Compensation
Candidates must hold an M.Pharm or M.S. (Pharm) degree with at least 55% marks and must have passed the NET/GATE/GPAT test. The age limit is 28 years, with a relaxation of up to 5 years for certain reserved categories and women.
The monthly fellowship for the JRF is ₹37,000 in the first year. This amount can increase to ₹42,000 in the third year upon a performance-based upgradation.

The last date to submit applications is October 15, 2025. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview, preferably offline. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview. The university and the Principal Investigator (PI) reserve the right to restrict the number of candidates called for the interview.
