
The Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) is seeking applications for the temporary position of Junior Research Assistant (JRA) for a project sponsored by the Council of Science & Technology, Uttar Pradesh (CST-UP). The project is focused on “Natural green solvents from agricultural waste of local farmers to develop foaming agent in carbon viscosification, EOR, and sequestration for NET‐ZERO vision of climate change and pollution.”
Position Details
- Post: Junior Research Assistant (JRA)
- Number of Positions: 1
- Fellowship: A fixed amount of Rs. 28,000 per month.
- Duration: The position is initially for 6 months but is extendable up to the 3-year duration of the project, based on satisfactory performance.
- Eligibility: Only Indian citizens who are residents of Uttar Pradesh are eligible to apply.
- Essential Qualifications:
- M.Sc. (Ag.), M.Sc., M.Pharm., M.V.Sc., or B.E./B.Tech. degree.
- Candidates must have a First Class in both their graduate and postgraduate examinations.
- The upper age limit is 28 years as of April 1, 2025.
- Note: Knowledge of sequestration will be considered an advantage.
