Government Job: Pharmacist Position Open at District Urban Health Unit, Narmada (Gujarat)

Eligibility and Age Criteria

Educational Qualification: The candidate must possess a Degree in Pharmacy or a Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized university or institution, and must be registered with the Gujarat Pharmacy Council.
Preference: Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience in dispensing medicine in hospitals or dispensaries. Knowledge of computers is considered an additional qualification.
Age Limit: The maximum age limit is 58 years (calculated as of 01/10/2025).
Retired Individuals: Retired professionals who meet the qualifications can also apply, with an age limit extended up to 62 years, provided they are physically fit.

Selection Process

The selection process is primarily merit-based, with a potential examination stage:

Merit-Based Shortlisting: The selection of candidates will be made solely on the basis of merit.
Computer Practical Examination: In the event of an excessive number of applications, eligible candidates will be shortlisted (three times the number of posts) based on merit and called for a Computer Practical Examination.
Final Authority: The final decision regarding this recruitment lies with the Mission Director and Chief District Health Officer, District Panchayat, Narmada.
