The CSIR-National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology (NIIST), located in Thiruvananthapuram, has announced a walk-in interview to fill a purely temporary position under the Post Code MSTD-15.

Monthly Stipend: Rs. 42,000/- + 20% HRA (Total: Rs. 50,400/- approximately).
Maximum Age Limit: 35 Years (as on the date of the walk-in interview). Age relaxation applies for reserved categories as per GOI/CSIR Rules.

Essential Qualifications

The position is tailored for highly experienced candidates in Chemistry and Materials Science:

Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry / Applied Chemistry / Organic Chemistry / Polymer Chemistry / Materials Science or equivalent from a recognized University.
Experience: 3 years of experience in R&D in Industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services.

Walk-in Interview Schedule & Procedure

Date & Time of Interview: 19-11-2025
Reporting Time: Candidates must report at CSIR-NIIST, Pappanamcode, Thiruvananthapuram, at 09:00 AM. Candidates reaching after 09:30 AM will not be entertained.
Eligibility: Only candidates whose final results have been declared as on the date of the walk-in interview will be eligible.
