Greater Chennai Corporation Announces Pharmacist Vacancies Under Urban Health Mission

The Chennai City Urban Health Mission (CCUHM) has invited applications to fill 04 Pharmacist positions on a contractual basis. These roles are intended for various healthcare facilities under the Greater Chennai Corporation and other government-run centers within the city to strengthen urban healthcare delivery.

Position Overview & Compensation

The engagement is purely temporary and follows the guidelines of the Urban Health Mission for contractual staffing.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following educational and registration requirements to be considered:

Academic: Must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination.
Professional: Possession of a Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or a Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm – 2-year course) from an institution recognized by the Director of Medical Education.
Council Registration: Mandatory registration with the Tamil Nadu Pharmacy Council.

Terms and Conditions

Nature of Job: The post is purely temporary; the CCUHM administration reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time without specifying a reason.
Multiple Applications: If a candidate wishes to apply for other available roles within the mission, separate applications must be submitted for each post.
Agreement: Selected candidates will be required to sign a formal agreement with the Chennai City Urban Health Mission before joining.
