Central University of Punjab Hiring: Project Fellow for Industry-Sponsored Anticancer Research

The Central University of Punjab (CUPB), an NAAC ‘A+’ accredited institution ranked among the top 100 universities in India by NIRF, has announced a prestigious research opening. The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Natural Products is seeking a Project Fellow for a high-impact project sponsored by Bimini Biotech, Netherlands.

This industry-sponsored project focuses on the Design and Synthesis of N-WASP (Neural Wiskott-Aldrich Syndrome Protein) inhibitors as novel anticancer agents.

Candidate Eligibility

Essential Qualification:

M.Pharm / M.S. Pharm / M.Sc. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, or Organic Chemistry.
Minimum of 55% marks in the post-graduation degree.

Desirable Skills:

Hands-on experience in in silico design (molecular docking/modeling) and chemical synthesis.
Familiarity with in vitro biological assays.
Preference will be given to candidates with qualified national exams (GPAT, GATE, or NET) and research publications in cancer therapy.
