Job Role & Core Responsibilities

The Junior Officer will be responsible for overseeing shift-wise production activities while strictly adhering to safety and quality protocols.

Production Execution: Manage shift resources to meet defined production targets. Optimize the use of consumables and minimize equipment downtime to enhance operational efficiency.
cGMP Compliance: Ensure all manufacturing processes align with Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Monitor process parameters as specified in Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR).
Digital Documentation: Maintain real-time online documentation using platforms like SAP, CipDox, and QMS. Ensure all entries in BMRs and supporting logs are accurate and timely.
Validation & Calibration: Execute equipment validation, qualification, and calibration schedules to ensure facility readiness for regulatory inspections.
Safety & HSE: Enforce the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintain a hazard-free working environment in coordination with the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) department.

Candidate Requirements

Cipla is seeking candidates who possess a deep understanding of formulation production and regulatory standards.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
Total Experience: 2 to 4 years of professional experience.
Core Experience: At least 2 years of hands-on experience specifically in pharmaceutical manufacturing/production.
Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in handling formulation equipment and a strong grasp of cGMP and safety norms.

Operational Challenges

The role involves managing inter-shift knowledge transfers and optimizing resources during technical downtime. Successful candidates must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with engineering and technical support teams.
