BITS Pilani (Pilani Campus) is inviting applications for a Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) position under a prestigious research project funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR). This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge Parkinson’s disease management research at the Department of Pharmacy.

• Post Name: Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)
• Vacancy: 01
• Stipend: ₹56,000 per month + 10% HRA (as per rules)
• Upper Age Limit: 35 Years
• Educational Qualification: * First-class Master’s Degree (M.Pharm/MS) in Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, or Biotechnology.
  • Preference: Candidates with valid GPAT/GATE/INSPIRE scores and experience in molecular biology or formulation development.

Technical Skills Desired:

• Formulation: Development and characterization of pharmaceutical delivery systems.
• In Vitro/In Vivo Studies: Expertise in exploring molecular mechanisms.
• Laboratory Techniques: RT-PCR, Western blotting, SDS-PAGE.
• Specialized Knowledge: Skills in mRNA and Gene Delivery systems.

PhD Opportunity

A significant highlight of this position is that the selected candidate may be permitted to register for the BITS Pilani PhD program, provided they fulfill the institute’s formal qualification requirements.
