The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER), Puducherry, is inviting applications from motivated Pharmacy and Nursing graduates for the role of Project Associate-I. This position is part of a high-impact, DHR-funded multicenter randomized controlled trial (NAGA Study) focused on Gastric Adenocarcinoma treatment strategies.

Eligibility & Responsibilities

Essential Qualifications:

  • B.Pharm or B.Sc Nursing degree.
  • Minimum 1 year of Clinical or Research experience.
  • Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in Tamil (Speaking, reading, and writing) for patient interaction and the consenting process.

Desirable Skills:

  • Previous experience in Clinical Trials or Oncology (Cancer care).
  • Valid GCP (Good Clinical Practice) training.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Patient recruitment and follow-up coordination.
  • Detailed data collection and entry into clinical databases.
  • Inter-center coordination and ensuring data integrity.
  • Managing patient consent and treatment schedules.

Selection Process & Evaluation

The selection will be based on a Walk-In Written Test and Interview.

  • Written Test Topics: Basic Oncology, Clinical Research methodology, GCP guidelines, Patient care skills, Consenting processes, and Drug storage protocols.
  • Interview: Focuses on interaction skills and response to clinical research scenarios.

  • Date: 10th February 2026 (Tuesday)
  • Reporting Time: 09:00 AM
  • Venue: Department of Medical Oncology, 3rd Floor, Super Specialty Block, JIPMER, Puducherry – 605006.

  3. Original certificates for verification (Educational & Experience).
  4. One set of self-attested photocopies of all documents.
