AIIMS New Delhi Hiring: Research Opportunities for Microbiology & Life Sciences Graduates

The Department of Microbiology at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Ansari Nagar, New Delhi, has announced openings for temporary research positions. These roles are part of an ICMR-funded research project led by Principal Investigator Dr. Urvashi B. Singh.

Available Vacancies

AIIMS is seeking qualified candidates for the following two positions:

Position	Essential Qualifications	Age Limit
Project Research Scientist-II	Ph.D. or 1st Class M.Sc. (Microbiology, Biotech, Life Sciences, or Pharmacology) with 5 years of experience in molecular biology and microbiology. Also open to 2nd Class Master’s degree holders with a Ph.D. and 5 years of research experience.	40 Years
Project Technical Support-III	Candidates must have prior working experience in government projects within the healthcare sector.	35 Years

Key Employment Terms

Salary: Remuneration for both roles will be provided as per ICMR rules.
Nature of Post: These positions are strictly temporary and will terminate alongside the project (co-terminus).
Interview Process: Only shortlisted candidates will be notified via email for an interview.
Travel: No TA or DA (Travel/Daily Allowance) will be provided for attending the interview.
Documentation: Candidates must bring all original documents if called for the interview.
