Common Requirements:
- Upper Age Limit: 35 years (Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/PwBD/Women; 3 years for OBC).
- Desirable: Knowledge of IPR, Patent Analytics, Patent Law, or Search & Analysis.
Monthly Emoluments
The stipend structure depends on whether the candidate has cleared national-level exams:
- Project Associate (PAT-II):
- ₹35,000 + HRA: For NET (including LS/Asst. Prof), GATE, or central govt. national exams (DBT/DST/ICMR, etc.).
- ₹28,000 + HRA: For others.
- Project Associate (PAT-I):
- ₹31,000 + HRA: For NET/GATE or central govt. national exams.
- ₹25,000 + HRA: For others.

Important Instructions for Candidates
- Job Role: Primarily involves searching, analyzing, and summarizing scientific documents and preparing technical reports (Patent Analytics).
- Documents: Bring a duly filled application form (prescribed format) and original certificates (with one set of photocopies) for verification.
- Tenure: Initially for 6 months, extendable based on performance and project duration (max 6 years).
- Selection: If applicant volume is high, the committee may use a written exam or academic percentage for shortlisting.
- Joining: Selected candidates must join within 15 days of the offer.
