These positions are focused on cutting-edge areas such as bio-fortification, genome editing, and metabolic engineering in crops like rice, banana, and soybean.

Project Details & Eligibility
1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
- Project: Genomic approaches for drought/heat stress resilience in rice.
- Key Skills: Plant tissue culture, Enzyme Kinetics, Metabolomics.
- Age Limit: 28 Years.
2. Project Associate
- Project: Variation in yield and grain nutrient profile in rice under high temperatures.
- Key Skills: GWAS analysis, Field phenotyping, DNA/RNA isolation.
- Age Limit: 35 Years.
3. Research Associate I (RA-I)
Three different projects are available under RA-I:
- Metabolic Engineering in Banana: Focused on natural defense chemicals.
- Saponin Biosynthesis in Soybean: Characterization of pathway genes.
- Stress & Nutrition in Banana: Identification of associated genes.
- Essential: PhD with at least one or two peer-reviewed international publications in SCI journals.
- Age Limit: 40 Years.

- Experience certificates and copies of publications.

Important Notes
- Online Option: In special circumstances, you may request an online interview by emailing the Project Investigator (PI) at least one week in advance.
- Experience: Preference is given to candidates with experience in Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, or Genome Editing.
- Duration: Appointments are initially for 1–2 years, extendable based on performance and fund availability.
