IIT Indore Opening: National Postdoctoral Fellowship (NPDF) in Sustainability & Energy

The Indian Institute of Technology Indore (IIT Indore), serving as the Hub institution, has announced a high-profile National Postdoctoral Fellowship (NPDF) vacancy. This position is part of the “SAKSHAM” project—Scientific Advancements in Knowledge for Sustainability, Healthcare, and Materials—sponsored by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF).

This specific fellowship falls under Theme-2: Environmental Sustainability and Energy Technology, involving collaboration with Samrat Vikramaditya Vishwavidyalay, Ujjain, as the spoke institution.

Fellowship Details

The project seeks a highly motivated researcher to contribute to advancements in green energy and sustainable materials.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be Indian citizens and possess a strong academic and publication record.

Essential Qualifications:

• Education: PhD in Chemistry, Biomass Conversion, Animal/Plant Biotechnology, or Molecular Biology.
• Publications: Minimum of two research publications, with at least one as First or Corresponding Author in a reputed peer-reviewed journal within the last two years.
• Preferred Assets: Candidates with granted patents will be given higher preference.

Desirable Experience:

• Basic knowledge of all aspects of synthetic organic chemistry.
• Hands-on experience in performing complex synthetic research projects.
• Research history aligned with environmental sustainability or energy technology.
