The Department of Pharmacy at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus is inviting applications for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position. This fellowship is part of an ANRF-sponsored project focused on medicinal chemistry and drug discovery for diabetic complications.
Project Details
- Project Title: Development of Peripherally Restricted RAGE Inhibitors as Safe Therapeutics for Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy.
- Principal Investigator (PI): Dr. Vijaykumar D Nimbarte.
- Collaboration: A multi-disciplinary effort involving drug discovery, DMPK, and pharmacology research.
Fellowship Benefits

Eligibility Criteria
- Essential Qualification: M.Pharm. or M.S. (Pharm) in Medicinal Chemistry or Process Chemistry.
- Mandatory Requirement: GPAT Qualified.
- Technical Skills (Must-Have): * Expertise in Organic & Medicinal Chemistry.
- Proficiency in Drug Design and MD Simulation.
- Desirable Skills: * Experience with In-vitro ELISA-based assays and Western Blot.
- Self-motivated with strong multi-tasking abilities.
