IISER Tirupati Announces Research Associate Vacancy in Mammalian Genomics and Evolution

The Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati, an autonomous premier institution under the Ministry of Education, is seeking a Research Associate-I for a high-impact project in the field of Ecology and Evolution. The project, titled “Developing genomic methods for ecological studies of mammals,” is led by Dr. Nandini Rajamani and focuses on cutting-edge population genomics.

This position offers a monthly fellowship of up to ₹58,000 + 9% HRA for Ph.D. holders, while candidates who have submitted their thesis but are awaiting their degree are also eligible to apply at a revised remuneration.

Recruitment Details

Position: Research Associate-I
Research Focus: Mammalian genomics, SNP data analysis, and selection analysis.
Eligibility: Ph.D. in Life Sciences (or thesis submitted).
Desirable: Experience in analyzing whole genomes and population genomics datasets.
Tenure: 6 months (Extendable based on performance).
