
The Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB), an institution of national importance under the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Govt. of India, is conducting a walk-in interview for a temporary position of Project Associate. The successful candidate will join a cutting-edge research project focused on pancreatic cancer.
About the Project
The project is titled “Deciphering the molecular mechanisms that drive Orai3 expression and regulate Orai3 mediated pancreatic cancer progression.” This research aims to understand the molecular pathways involved in pancreatic cancer, with the goal of developing new therapeutic strategies. The selected Project Associate will work under the guidance of Dr. Rajender K. Motiani, Associate Professor at RCB.
Position and Eligibility Details
- Post: Project Associate
- Number of Positions: 1
- Fellowship: A consolidated fellowship of ₹25,000 per month along with an additional 27% House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be provided.
- Duration: The initial appointment is for a period of six months, with the possibility of an extension based on performance.
- Age Limit: Applicants must be up to 35 years old.
- Essential Qualification: Candidates must have an M.Sc. in Biotechnology or Life Sciences with a minimum of 70% marks.
- Desirable Experience: Experience working in a hospital or with patient care is highly desirable and will be a plus for the candidates.
