Pharm'Up 
Banaras Hindu University (BHU), a renowned temple of learning in Varanasi, has announced a temporary vacancy for one Research Associate (RA) position under its Bridge Grant, Institution of Eminence (IoE) scheme. The position comes with a consolidated fellowship of ₹56,000 per month for a duration of 8 months.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualifications:
- Candidates must hold a Ph.D. from an Indian university or institute with a NIRF ranking up to 50 (overall or in the relevant field).
- Alternatively, candidates who have completed their Ph.D. abroad from a university ranked in the top 500 globally (according to QS or THE rankings) are also eligible.
- Research scholars from Institutes of National Importance are also eligible.
- Research Experience:
- A proven track record is essential, with a minimum of two published papers in Q1 or Q2 journals or other SCOPUS/Web of Science-listed journals.
- Desirable Skills:
- Prior hands-on experience in molecular biology techniques is desirable, including gene cloning and proteomics.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in Microbial Genomics, Bioinformatics, Metabolic Engineering, and extensive experience with R, Python, MATLAB, and other scripting languages. Prior experience with computational biology tools is also highly desirable.
