Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Opportunity at Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences

Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) is inviting applications for the position of a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) at the Department of Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance within the Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MCOPS). The position is for a research project sponsored by the Department of Health Research, titled: “Formulation and Characterization of Co-amorphous System of Amoxapine- Bergamottin: Improving Solubility, Dissolution, Metabolic Stability, Pharmacokinetics, and Antidepressant Activity.”

Job & Eligibility Details

Post: Junior Research Fellow
Remuneration: Rs. 35,000 per month, plus an additional 8% House Rent Allowance (HRA).
Duration: The engagement is for a period of three years.
Eligibility: Candidates must have a post-graduate degree in:
- M.Pharm or M.S. in Pharmaceutics
- M.Pharm or M.S. in Pharmaceutical Analysis
- M.Pharm in Quality Assurance
Desirable Qualifications:
- Candidates who have qualified for national-level examinations such as CSIR, GPAT, or GATE.
- Experience in the formulation and characterization of co-amorphous systems.
- Strong knowledge of analytical techniques like HPLC/UPLC and LC-MS/MS.
- Experience with In Vitro Liver Microsomal Metabolism Assay and animal studies for PK and PD.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.

Important Note

The selected candidate has the opportunity to register for a Ph.D. at MAHE, Manipal, in the same project area, provided they fulfill the university’s eligibility requirements.
