CSIR–Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI), India’s premier biomedical research institute, invites applications for 10 temporary project positions across various disciplines including Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, Chemical Sciences, and Bioinformatics.
The positions are project-based and engagement will be initially for a period of one year or till the project duration/funds are available.

Note: Stipend is an approximation based on basic pay + 20% HRA (except where noted otherwise).
📜 Key General Instructions
- Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST/Women/PwBD candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
- Temporary Position: The positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the project duration (Maximum engagement across all CSIR projects is 6 years).
- Walk-In Candidates: Must bring a duly filled application form and undertaking (downloadable from www.cdri.res.in) along with original and self-attested copies of all mark sheets/certificates and a recent passport-size photograph.
- Shortlisting: A Screening Committee will set criteria beyond the minimum essential qualifications to shortlist candidates. A written test may be conducted on the interview day to shortlist candidates if the number of applicants is high.
- Eligibility Date: The date for determining age, qualification, and experience shall be the date of the interview/last date of online application submission.
