Municipal Corporation, Health Department (Ahmedabad) Hiring Pharmacists on Contract Basis

The Health Department of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC), under the National Health Mission (NHM), is recruiting for the post of Pharmacist to work in the Urban Health Centers and Dedicated Mobile Health Teams (DMHT). The appointments are strictly on a temporary basis for an 11-month contract period.

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

Must have a degree or diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized university.
Must be registered with the Gujarat Pharmacy Council.

Key Conditions and Application Process

Contract: The initial appointment is for 11 months. The contract may be renewed after a 1-day break if the employee’s performance is satisfactory.
Agreement: Selected candidates must enter into an agreement with The Urban Health Society, Ahmedabad under the NHM and will have no claim against the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation.
Incomplete Applications: Applications lacking attested copies of all qualification and experience certificates will be summarily cancelled.
Priority: Candidates with experience in related posts in Government/Corporation/Private Institutions and possessing a Basic Computer Certificate will be given priority in the merit list.
Grade Conversion: Candidates whose marks are in a grade format must produce a certificate from their university converting the grade into a percentage.
Verification: Final appointment is subject to the verification of original certificates; any discrepancy will lead to exclusion from the merit list.
