AIIMS New Delhi Recruitment Project Research Scientist (I) in Life Sciences

Applications are invited for the temporary position of Project Research Scientist (I) (Non-Medical) at AIIMS, New Delhi, under an ICMR-funded project titled “Influence of Vitamin D-Binding Protein Gene Polymorphisms on Urinary Microbiome-Metabolome Profiles of Children with Congenital Uropathies Prone to Urinary Tract Infections.”

Essential Qualifications

A candidate must possess one of the following qualifications:

  1. First Class M.Sc. (Life Sciences or equivalent) from a recognized university (including integrated PG degrees).OR
  2. Second Class M.Sc. (Life Sciences or equivalent) from a recognized university (including integrated PG degrees) with a Ph.D.

Desirable Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Hands-on experience in genetic and molecular techniques.
  • Capability and experience in handling microbiome data.
  • Knowledge and proficiency in programming languages.
  • Ability to work on multiple datasets (multi-tasking personality).
  • Good manuscript writing skills.
