Candidate Profile & Qualifications
- Education: M.Sc. in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related discipline.
- Experience: 2 to 6 years of hands-on research experience in molecular biology or antibody development.
Technical Skill Requirements
Candidates should demonstrate high proficiency in the following laboratory techniques:
- Nucleic Acid Handling: Extraction of DNA and RNA.
- Advanced PCR: Inverse PCR, Touch-down/up, Gradient, TaqMan, and Real-time PCR.
- Cloning Techniques: Subcloning, Gibson assembly, Golden gate, Gateway, and In-Fusion cloning.
- Cell Engineering: Preparation of ultra-competent cells; transformation via chemical and electroporation methods.
- Data Integrity: Maintaining accurate Laboratory Notebooks (LNB) and digital databases.
- Compliance: Strict adherence to Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) protocols.
