Essential Qualifications:

Education: Ph.D. in the relevant field with a First Class at either the Bachelor’s or Master’s level.
Research: Minimum of six research publications in SCI journals or those approved by UGC/AICTE.
Experience: 8 years of total experience in Teaching/Research/Industry, with at least 2 years post-Ph.D. experience.
Language: Knowledge of Konkani is essential (Marathi is desirable).

2. Junior Scientific Officer – Food (DFDA)

This role is critical for the enforcement of food safety standards within the Directorate of Food and Drugs Administration.

Essential Qualifications:

Education: Post-Graduate in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Technology, Microbiology, or Food and Drugs.
Certification: Must be an Associate of the Institution of Chemists (India) in Food Analysis OR declared qualified as a Public Analyst by a notified Central Government Board.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Food Analysis in a government-recognized laboratory.
Language: Knowledge of Konkani is essential.
