Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications

PhD Field: Zoology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Molecular and Human Genetics, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
Institutional Ranking:
- Indian Universities: Must be from an institute with an NIRF ranking up to 50 (overall or specific category) or an Institution of National Importance.
- Foreign Universities: Must be from a top 500 world ranking university (QS or THE).
Publication Record: At least 2 published papers in Q1 or Q2 journals, or Scopus/Web of Science-listed journals.

Desirable Qualifications

Candidates with expertise in the following areas will be preferred:

Proteomics, Immunology, and Parasitology (specifically Filarial biology).
Pharmacology and Nanotechnology for efficient drug delivery.
Expertise in in-vitro and in-vivo studies, including handling laboratory rats and mice.

Age Limit & Rules

Upper Age Limit: 45 years.
Relaxation: 5 years relaxation for female, SC, ST, and Physically Handicapped candidates as per Government of India (GoI) rules.
