Thanjavur District Health Society Recruitment 2026: Pharmacist (Ayurveda) Vacancy

The Medical People’s Welfare Department, under the National Ayush Mission (NAM) and NPCDCS, has announced recruitment for a Pharmacist (Ayurveda) position at the Thanjavur Medical College Hospital. This role is strictly on a contract basis for an initial period of 11 months.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Diploma in Pharmacy (Ayurveda).Note: Certificates must be issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu only.
• Age Limit: As per prevailing Government of Tamil Nadu rules.

Terms & Conditions

1. Contract Period: The appointment is for 11 months. A new contract may be initiated after a one-day break following the completion of the term.
2. Status: This is a temporary post and will not be converted into a permanent position.
3. Agreement: Selected candidates must provide an undertaking and sign a contract letter.
4. Finality: The decision of the Selection Committee is final regarding all appointments.

• Transfer Certificate (TC): Issued by the last attended institution.
