- Post Name: Junior Pharmacist G-II (Drug & Pharmacy)
- Total Vacancies: 7 (Breakup: OM-3, SC-1, ST1-1, ST2-1, RBA-1)
- Pay Scale: Level-4 (₹25,500 – ₹81,100)
- Selection Criteria: Based purely on merit obtained in the Written/OMR Examination.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for these positions, candidates must fulfill specific academic and residency requirements.
1. Educational Qualification
- Mandatory: Bachelor in Pharmacy (B.Pharmacy) from any institution recognized by the Government.
- Note: Candidates must possess the degree on or before the cut-off date of application submission.
2. Domicile & Age Limit (as of 01.01.2026)
- Domicile: Candidates must be Domiciles of the UT of Jammu & Kashmir and possess a valid Domicile Certificate.
- Age Requirements:
- Open Merit (OM): 40 Years
- SC / ST-1 / ST-2 / RBA: 43 Years
- (Birth Window: Between 01.01.1986 and 01.01.2008)

Examination Scheme
The selection process is designed to test the technical proficiency of the candidates through a standardized testing format.
- Format: Objective Type, Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Language: English only.
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
- Admit Cards: Available for download approximately one week before the exam on jkssb.nic.in.
Important Instructions for Applicants
- Identity Proof: It is mandatory to carry the Admit Card along with two passport-size photos and a valid Original Photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Voter ID, etc.) to the exam center.
- Accuracy: Ensure names and dates match your Matriculation Certificate exactly. No corrections are allowed after the final submission.
- Provisional Status: Admission to the exam is provisional. Document verification will occur after the written test results.
- Avoid Last Minute Rush: Submit applications early to avoid portal heavy-load issues near the March 25th deadline.
