1. Educational Qualification
- Mandatory: Bachelor in Pharmacy (B.Pharmacy) from any institution recognized by the Government.
- Note: Candidates must possess the degree on or before the cut-off date of application submission.
2. Domicile & Age Limit (as of 01.01.2026)
- Domicile: Candidates must be Domiciles of the UT of Jammu & Kashmir and possess a valid Domicile Certificate.
- Age Requirements:
- Open Merit (OM): 40 Years
- SC / ST-1 / ST-2 / RBA: 43 Years
- (Birth Window: Between 01.01.1986 and 01.01.2008)

Examination Scheme
The selection process is designed to test the technical proficiency of the candidates through a standardized testing format.

- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
- Admit Cards: Available for download approximately one week before the exam on jkssb.nic.in.
